A biden/Harris win will destroy the classic car market

If you are thinking about or are set on voting for a Biden/Harris ticket and you are a classic car enthusiast, think twice. It is apparent that Joe Biden is not mentally capable of being the president of the most powerful country on earth. I am not making the Biden mental remark in a patronizing manner, quite the contrary, I find it appalling that his family and the Democrat party are using him as a prop, given his condition, when it is a fact that he has dementia or at least the onset of it. His brother Jim takes credit for navigating Joe’s political career and he has made millions with a brother in the Senate and the Vice Presidency. It is clear that Biden and Kamala are influenced by other powers to be.

Let’s look at the facts. Once Biden is unable to perform his presidential duties, whether it be a month or a year, Kamala Harris will take charge. And even if she does not take charge, Biden’s past is an indicator that he’ll be influenced by the far-left green pushing squad. And Harris is even more focused on zero emission goals.

Here are a couple of Kamala’s quotes: “As president, I will hold polluters accountable for the damage they inflict upon our environment and set us on a path to a 100 percent clean economy that creates millions of good-paying jobs,”  The plan would seek to create a clean energy economy by 2045. That involves requiring all new buses, heavy-duty vehicles and vehicle fleets to be zero-emission by 2030 and all vehicles to be 100 percent zero-emission by 2035. And it would require all new buildings to be carbon-neutral by 2030 and having a carbon neutral electric grid by 2030.

Biden recently stated in the last presidential debate: “I would transition from the oil industry, yes,” Biden said. “The oil industry pollutes significantly,” he added. “It has to be replaced by renewable energy over time.”

Now shift to the classic car market. This is a very simplistic concept in the equation; oil & gas. What is the waste product of oil and gas? Carbon or what the EPA calls GHG or Greenhouse Gas Emissions. Over 90% of the fuel used for transportation is petroleum based, which includes primarily gasoline and diesel and every classic car falls into this category.

Biden’s plan is called THE BIDEN PLAN TO BUILD A MODERN SUSTAINABLE INFRASTRUCTION AND AN EQUITABLE CLEAN ENERGY FUTURE. Here are some of the specifics of Biden’s plan: Provide every American city with 100,000 or more residents with high-quality zero emissions public transportation options, while installing infrastructure for pedestrians and bicyclists. Keywords here are zero emissions.

Help to dramatically accelerate American industrial capacity to produce clean vehicles and components. Biden commits to reinventing the American transportation system from the factory line to the electric vehicle charging station. Biden seeks to set a goal that all new American built buses be zero-emissions by 2030 and accelerate the progress by converting all 500,000 school buses in the country to zero emissions, including diesel. Again, keywords are zero emissions. Biden stresses that he will set us on an ambitious and irreversible course to meet all the above. Furthermore, his plan will move us ambitiously to generate a clean carbon pollution free power sector by 2035. Biden’s plan will also influence auto manufacturers to retool their factories to assemble zero-emission vehicles. Again, keywords – zero emissions.

There is an equation in basic propositional logic that deduces the truth by analyzing the words. Modus Ponens: “If A is true, then B is true. A is true. Therefore, B is true.” Modus Tollens: “If A is true, then B is true. Once you have validated with one of the above methods, we can move to premise + premise = conclusion. Lets dig deeper:

Assume A is (All gasoline cars produce emissions). A is true. Assume B is (Classic cars are gasoline cars) Therefore a valid statement is: All gasoline cars produce emissions, classic cars are gasoline cars, therefore classic cars produce emissions.

Going to the next level you can logically state: A Biden presidency will take America to zero emissions eliminating gasoline, because gasoline produces emissions, a classic car produces emissions by using gasoline, therefore if Biden becomes president and takes America to zero emissions, gasoline cars including classic cars will cease to be driven. All the above is validly deduced to be true.

It’s as simple as that. If Biden Becomes president, by 2050 or possibly before that year, given Biden’s acceleration of zero emissions, the classic car world would change drastically.

There are options. We can trailer our classic cars with our new electric trucks and trailers to car shows and auctions, but we could not start them. The industry that we all love and cherish, that of classic cars, may become only viewable and not driven. There may be companies who design zero emission. retro fits with clean energy in the form of batteries, but we will never hear the power of the 440 Mopars, 351 Fords or 427 Chevy’s ever again, nor will we hear the purr of the pre-war engines or flatheads that every enthusiast enjoys.

At myclassicnews, we support technological advancement, but let the market evolve naturally. One day all transportation will naturally adapt to newer and different means of power supplies, but do we need a president and administration that is going to accelerate this change that destroys our children’s and grandchildren’s opportunity to enjoy the love we have had for our classic cars over the years, along with passing that passion down to our children?  Again, by electing Biden, we are conveniently erasing and destroying our automotive history with one election. Automotive history will never look the same.

Another important fact to take into consideration is that all of the following companies would be abolished: Muffler shops, Oil Filter manufacturers, belt & hose manufacturers, carburetor manufacturers, oil change facilities, all manufacturers of all internal components of the combustion engine, transmission manufacturers and repair shops, radiator manufacturers and repair shops and every auto parts store would be reinvented in order to only carry DC and electric parts and components, but in essence this would drive many out of business.

And keep in mind that all small mom and pop auto repair shops would be eliminated, only major dealers would be retrofitted to meet the needs of electric vehicles. This also does not take into account, motorcycles, tractors and airplanes from Cessnas to 767’s.

I cannot logically formulate why anyone that loves the classic car industry could vote for the very ticket that would destroy the classic car industry and our very way of life in an accelerated manner such as a Biden/Harris win.
