The Bugatti known as the Tank

In 1923 the Bugatti Type 32 was nicknamed The Tank by the press because of its likeness to tanks in WWI. Also known as one the first cars to introduce aerodynamics to the motorsports. Although this design did not go over, it paved the way for future work on aerodynamics in the race world.

This Bugatti only took place in one race, but it came in 3rd in the 1923 French Gran Prix with an average speed of 114 km/h.
