Ford is increasing its use of advanced manufacturing technologies as part of a plan to deliver high-quality vehicles to customers even more efficiently. The company invested $40 million to make the Chicago Assembly and Stamping plants better places to work for employees; upgrades include new LED lighting, bathroom and cafeteria updates, new break areas and parking lot security improvements.
