Next weekend on April 21st. and 22nd., The Branson Auction will be held at the Branson Convention Center in Branson, Missouri. Many of us think of the Ozarks and entertainment when Branson is mentioned, but next weekend classic cars for sale will be another attraction in the beautiful Ozarks of Missouri.

The Branson Auction has been conducting classic car auctions for 39 years. Their Branson event is held twice a year, in April and October. There’s still time to register and buy the car of your dreams.

One car that caught our eye at MyclassicNEWS was this 1919 Cadillac Type 57 Coupe.

The history of Cadillac actually dates back to 1901 when Henry Ford started the Henry Ford Company. A year later he had a dispute with his bankers and left the company. By 1903 he had established the Ford Motor Company, but the Henry Ford Company became the Cadillac Motor Car Company. Nearly 20 years later, this beautiful 1919 Cadillac was manufactured.

This Type 57 was originally shipped on October 18th, 1919 and was delivered to Cadillac Auto Company of Boston. It is said that it was custom built for Henry P. Morgenthau, former U.S. Secretary of The Treasury. It is an older restoration and looks to have been restored by Wolfington Body Company of Philadelphia.

It is apparent that the car has been well maintained and cared for. Mechanically, it runs and drives great.

Rick Duncan, President of Myclassic NEWS said: “My dad had a Cadillac dealership in Los Angeles and I remember growing up around Cadillacs, new and old, but this pre-war beauty is breath taking. Over the years, Cadillac enthusiasts could recognize a Cadillac heading towards them from a mile down the road, whether it be a 30’s, 40’s, 50’s, 60’s or 70’s model, but this 1919 historic vehicle screams Cadillac from every angle. What a beautiful piece of artwork and automotive history”

This 1919 Cadillac can be yours if you register to bid. Or if other cars suit your fancy, check out all the classics that will flood Branson next weekend. CLICK HERE to register to bid or view all the lots at the Branson Auction website.
